15 March 1942 (Sunday) | Before the noon roll call in Auschwitz II-Birkenau, 133 prisoners were exercised to death by drunk SS men. After the roll call 276 prisoners (incl. 103 Soviet POWs) were killed this way.

409 prisoners were murdered or died on that day, incl. 198 Poles, 103 Soviet POWs, 68 Jews, 20 Czechs, 8 Germans & 2 Yugoslavs. Prisoners remember that on such Sundays carts on which food was transported from Auschwitz I to Birkenau returned with corpses of murdered prisoners.
