The post opens with "freedom and unpredictability" then describes a system built to make encounters more predictable. pick one. the honest version is "un-sorted lobbies hurt retention" which is fine, just say it.

Also, ABMM only works when players don't know how it works. You just published the manual.
You can gain the system to rat friendly player, but most of all, change your behaviour for the system, to get into friendlier lobbies. If friendly behaviour earns you easier lobbies, then "play friendly to grind, play PvP for action" is just the smart way to play. When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.
