@rebornkitty I play it bc I only got on it as an alternative to pjd when my wrist was fucked up. I ended up genuinely enjoying it. Been a vocaloid fan for over 10 years, so I was only there for the rhythm game from the start. Mizu5 is the first and only time the plot has interested me.

I Iearned about it through archives and recaps after the fact, most of which anonymized those involved. Im just confused because I didn't say YOU called him a pedophile.

I want to reach a place where responsibility and accountability are fair and thorough, but until then, I feel we need to assess each situation with nuance and critical thought. I am still working on that to this day.

@siliqoi Its relative to the person and the context in which they exist. Like you said, its not like they turn 18 and suddenly know better. There's a reason the AVERAGE age of full brain development is 25, and also that we tend to look down on people > mid 20s dating 18/19 y/os

These types of behaviors come from cult-like conditioning. If you are surrounded by something and insulated from outside perspectives, you never question it. True empathy is taught and learned, not something you're born with.

People all develop different skills at different ages. My empathy didn't solidify until I was 12-13. That's later than average, but you can thank undiagnosed neurodivergence and poor modeling for that. Still, once it had developed, it became an unshakable part of my identity.

The grooming allegations were debunked. He was accused during a separate controversy for oversharing abt his mental health on discord, as well as mismanagement of his team during MC production. Those are valid criticisms, but nothing criminal or damning to his character.
