@A56Safety As a minimum are @TraffordCouncil going to repaint the cycle lanes where the road surfacing works have been done? Shared pathway is not fit for purpose. Why is this stretch a 40mph zone, should be 30mph restriction here whilst no protected cycle lanes.

@WalkRideTraff Just beyond that point where cyclists are diverted onto the shared pavement the markings disappear after the canal path, are we supposed to bunny hop off onto main carriageway or rejoin the cycle lane at the bus stop. Seems unclear to me and dangerous.

@NorthRoadJane I am so sorry to hear the news but pleased to hear Ian is at least home. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I was dropping off my bike for a service, Ian was sat on the sofa ‘overseeing’ operations, as you say it’s the little things that are important. Strength to you both.

@H_H_Gray I suspect only done so that inflation doesn’t start to rise again, the Govt wouldn’t want that headline. Public transport should always be a cheaper choice than taking the car, unfortunately not how it is though!!

@gmptraffic All great work and I am 100% for enforcement, but I am not sure being so obvious works. I could report a driver for going through a red light at almost every junction I cycle past on a short 5 mile commute every day.
