Discovered beneath the rubble; bronze from a time of struggle.

The late Bronze Age/Iron Age cauldron from the Sompting Hoard (now displayed in @wtmworthing) was discovered with 17 axes in 1946.

A very large anti-racist crowd in #Brighton. On the A23 entering here, the Patcham Pylons inscription hails guests and then says:

“If friend we greet thee hand and heart. If stranger no longer be. If foe our love shall conquer thee.”

Apropos of nothing, Clacton is the only British location to have given a name solely to a Palaeolithic technology. It also preserved the world's oldest wooden spear. Dated to 420,000 yrs ago when Britain had multiple cultures & freedom of movement dictated only by sea level rise.

Are these #cupmarks ? Large stones in a Brighton Park. I'm curious about these indentations and wondering if the stones have a different archaeological history.
