I never thought I'd be able to write women's fiction like I wrote my first one, again. But here I am. I've missed writing about families, mothers, daughters and sisters. When I began writing it in June, I didn't know how far I'd make it. But last night, I crossed 60K words.

Got a rejection on my full MS today. The only way to resurface from it was to send 9 new queries and take a 1-day break from the WIP. Which btw is going extremely well.

@AlexGMcFarland My readers have told me the vague and not so elaborate scenes still get them steamed up. Perhaps it's the possibilities between the few lines that I bring into it that help rather than being explicit. Either way, I don't run away from it. If we are writing about people, we can't.

@askamycollins I did 16 for my first novel and 11 for my second novel. And yes, the way it has refined me as a writer and improved my editing skills is remarkable.
