According to a diplomatic official, Israel is actively pressing Bosnia to recognize Somaliland, which is a separatist administration in northern Somalia.

Reliable sources also indicate that Macedonia and Montenegro are experiencing similar diplomatic pressures.

Israel was the only government to recognize Somaliland at the end of last year, a move that sparked anger within Somali society and the government.

Diplomatic sources from Somalia have informed me that they coordinated this effort with President Hassan Sheik, who has shown hesitation to take definitive action.
