@shivlestat For me it was the erasure of Holden. I don’t need a frame by frame/page by page of the book. Adaptations aren’t meant to be carbon copies. But erasing whole characters and throwing in unnecessary scenes? It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Anyway I hated The Love Hypothesis as an adaptation. As a rom-com it’s okay I guess but seriously if you wanna write your own rom-com then do that.

Adam was done SO dirty. Where was his apartment, his friends & side of the story? Tom Bateman did his absolute best with what he was given & I loved how he breathed life into Adam but HE DESERVED MORE SCREEN TIME. They reduced him to just a love interest and not a character
