Mamdani can’t stop the sale of West Bank lands happening in synagogues. He can’t. He has to abide by state and federal law.
Mamdani literally spearheaded the Not On Our Dime Act to prohibit nonprofits from selling West Bank lands. It hasn’t passed yet, but it’s still in the NY assembly committee waiting for a vote.
If you want to help Palestine then learn what’s actually going on and how to effectively advance change.
What Mamdani can do is at least have part of his research team keep track of these sales and share any state violations to the AG. I put together a proposal for this and shared it with his office. These are things we can actually leverage by acting effectively. It’s reaching a point where I think some people are actually acting in a self defeating manner.
You’d have to overhaul the entire political system, and remove every member from local to federal, in order to ensure there aren’t any politicians who have differing opinions
Where’s your effort to make that a reality, or do you wanna just judge those who try and do what they can?
@Domthgreat Again is it all artists or just him? It’s not surprising to hear he’s reached milestones given his veteran status and the hype that was surrounding the projects
If music moved solely on what you think is hitting, how many artists wouldn’t have Grammys or platinum records?
@p_lo They’ve been trying to talk down on you and the Bay ever since this collab. No lie it’s clear they think LA should dictate how you move and they don’t respect your legacy
And the one running his mouth the most was the same one signed to Cash Money and sold less than Lil Twist
@jaysonbuford@vincestaples You’re annoying because you haven’t been told no as a child. As far as I’m concerned you better watch that mouf of yours boy and act like you’re supposed to
@AsadFromNYC 100%. You need to admit to the public wrongdoings you committed, how contrary they are, and announce that you’ll distance yourself from them
The only people who’ll say otherwise are those that are cut from the same cloth or at the very least those who’s opinions are worthless
SOMALIA HAS RUN OUT EXUSES.
The future of Somalia is becoming dangerously uncertain.
The are only four real choices for Somalis:
1. RECONCILE.
End the clan wars. Start healing process. Put Somalia before clan.
2. COMPROMISE
No clan gets everything. No region gets everything. Negotiate each other and reach comprises or keep destroying each other.
3. JUSTICE.
Create a genuine Truth, justice, and reconciliation commission. Those responsible for national crimes must face justice. No sacret cows. No immunity forever.
4. DISSOLVE THE SOMALI STATE.
If Somali truly cannot coexist under one political system, then say it openly and dissolve the state immediately without undermining the safety and stability of the Horn of Africa region and beyond.
But STOP pretending that importing foreign powers is a solution.
Somaliland → 🇮🇱 Israel.
Puntland/Jubaland → 🇦🇪 UAE.
Mogadishu → 🇹🇷 Turkey.
Tomorrow, another region could invite 🇮🇳 India, 🇨🇳 China, 🇬🇧 Britain—or someone else.
And then what?
A Somali state where every region has its own foreign sponsor?
That is not sovereignty.
That is the slow motion dissolution of Somali Republic.
Today they come as “partners.”
Tomorrow they become power brokers.
And eventually, Somalis may discover that the people sitting at the table deciding Somalia's future are no longer Somalis.
The most frightening scenario is not foreign troops entering Somalia.
It is a Somalia where every Somali clan has a foreign army standing behind it.
That is how a country becomes a battlefield without anyone officially declaring war.
Reconcile. Compromise. Pursue justice. Or admit that the Somali state itself is being dismantled.
Because if Somalis don't decide Somalia's future
someone else will.
@solarystix Can’t help but think his issue with Rihanna isn’t about them breaking up when he A) patched things with Chris Brown, B) Made songs with her after, and C) Gave Rocky a chain on Yams day when they were together. I think Yams day is where the issue starts
@supermodel290@zaywestonn@headnavy He didn’t disrespect Spalading. All he said was he felt slighted by not getting the Grammy but stayed humble. This shouldn’t be included in the list
