رسولِ اکرمﷺ کے وصال کے وقت سیدنا حسینؓ کی عمر مبارک تقریباً 6 سال تھی اور واقعہ کربلا کے وقت تقریباً 57 سال تھی، ہمیں یا تو چھ سال کی عمر تک کے واقعات سننے کو مل رہے ہیں یا پھر میدان کربلا کے۔ درمیانی 51 سال کہاں چلے گئے یہ کیوں بیان نہیں کیے جاتے؟؟
اگر ہمارے علماء یہ 51 سال کی سیرتِ کو عام کر دیں تو کہیں صدیق اکبرؓ حسنین کریمینؓ کو ممبر کے دائیں بائیں بٹھا کر خطبہ دیتے نظر آئیں گے۔
کہیں سیدنا فاروق اعظمؓ خانوادہ رسولﷺ کے شہزادوں کا کھڑے ہو کر استقبال کرتے ملیں گے۔
کہیں دونوں جنتی شہزادے ذوالنورینؓ کی حفاظت کے لیے تلواریں اٹھاۓ کھڑے ہوں گے۔
تو کہیں حضرت ابو ہریرہؓ اپنی چادر مبارک سے شہزادگانِ رسولﷺ کے جوتے مبارک صاف کرتے ملیں گے۔

ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عمر فاروق اعظمؓ نے صحابہ کرامؓ کے بچوں میں کچھ کپڑے تقسیم کئے لیکن ان کپڑوں میں کوئی کپڑا ایسا نہ تھا جو سیدنا حسنؓ اور سیدنا حسینؓ کی شان کے لائق ہو لہذا آپ نے ان شہزاد گان کیلئے یمن سے کپڑے منگوائے اور پھر کہا: اب میرا دل خوش ہوا ہے۔

سبحان اللہ تعالیٰ

اکثر مجالس اور بیانات میں سیدنا حسینؓ کی سیرت کے صرف بچپن یا واقعہ کربلا کے واقعات بیان کیے جاتے ہیں، جبکہ ان کے درمیان تقریباً 51 سال کی زندگی کم ہی بیان کی جاتی ہے۔

1. حضرت حسینؓ نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے بعد حضرت ابوبکرؓ، عمرؓ، عثمانؓ اور علیؓ کے ادوار میں بھرپور اسلامی و معاشرتی کردار ادا کیا۔
2. وہ صحابہ کرامؓ کے ساتھ رہے، کئی غزوات و اہم مواقع پر شریک ہوئے اور خلافتِ علیؓ کے دور میں بھی نمایاں کردار ادا کیا۔
3. حضرت حسنؓ کے بعد کئی سال تک امت کی اصلاح، تعلیم اور تبلیغ میں مصروف رہے، اور مدینہ میں علمی و اخلاقی رہنمائی کا مرکز تھے۔
4. خلافتِ عثمانؓ کے دور میں اہل بیتؓ کی عزت و احترام کے کئی واقعات ملتے ہیں، جیسا کہ حضرت عمرؓ نے خاص لباس یمن سے منگوا کر حسنینؓ کو پہنایا۔
5. ان 51 سالوں میں اہل بیتؓ اور صحابہؓ کے درمیان محبت، عزت اور تعاون کی کئی روشن مثالیں تاریخ میں موجود ہیں، مگر یہ عام بیان نہیں ہوتیں۔

علماء اگر ان درمیانی سالوں کی سیرت کو عام کریں تو امت میں باہمی محبت، اتحاد اور اہل بیتؓ و صحابہؓ کی اصل تعلیمات زیادہ اجاگر ہوں گی۔

In the last few weeks there have been serious and concerning developments regarding my sons’ father, Imran Khan’s treatment in prison. The Pakistan authorities have stopped all visits to him by his family and his lawyers. They have also postponed all court hearings. In addition to cutting off in- person visits, and in defiance of a court order, his weekly calls to his sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, who are British and who live in London, were stopped on 10th September. We have received reports that the authorities have now turned off the lights and electricity in his cell and he is no longer allowed to leave his cell at any time. The jail cook has been sent on leave. He is now completely isolated, in solitary confinement, literally in the dark, with no contact with the outside world. His lawyers are concerned about his safety and well-being.

These actions come in the context of ongoing targeting of Imran’s family, as well as his party (PTI) members and supporters in an attempt to silence them and all political opposition in Pakistan. Imran’s nephew, Hassan Niazi, a civilian, has been detained in military custody since August 2023. More recently, Imran Khan’s sisters, Uzma and Aleema Khan, who have continued to speak out on his behalf, have also been arrested as they made their way peacefully to a demonstration and they are currently being held in jail, despite there being no proper or lawful basis for their imprisonment.

In June this year the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found that Imran is unlawfully and arbitrarily detained and called for his immediate release.

 As a matter of urgency , we are calling for Imran Khan’s release, and for the release of his sisters and nephew as well as for his sons’ contact with their father to be re-established, so that they may have assurance first-hand that he is well and not being mistreated.
