I think this is normal for every researcher. We all have experienced this and still experiencing it even after years of writing.
There are lots of tips out there that could help. But it's important to understand yourself and what triggers that zeal to write or think.
Academic writing can be frustrating at times. I have been trying to investigate gaps in a particular literature and I just can’t get through it. Somedays, I just want to close this laptop and never open it again. 🥲

I am happy to share my 3rd article from my PhD research titled “Influence of improper disposal on FOG deposition: Rheological behaviour and pumping power requirements in sewer systems”, accepted for publication in the Journal of Water Research (Q1, IF 11.5).
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Onuorah in Melbourne, Australia.
Christopher tragically passed away on January 3, 2024, after being found unresponsive in the waters off Rye on the Mornington Peninsula.
