2021.8월 암진단. 2022.4월 표준치료 종료. 태어나서 단 한 번도 경험해보지 못한 ‘나’를 만났다. ‘나’는 내가 알고 있는 것보다 약했고, 이기적이었으며 꽤나 겁쟁이었다. 끝나지 않을 것 같던 터널은 끝났고, 2023.1월. 이젠 길 위에 올라서야 할 때다.

그러니까 변화의 어감은 지키되 변화하지 못한 스스로에 대한 자괴감 또한 내려놓기로 했다. 건강한 식사, 규칙적인 수면, 운동과 종이 신문 읽기.. 이 정도 소소한 변화도 변화니까. 이런 ‘나’도 그 힘든 시간을 잘 이겨낸 기특한 나니까.
