For those who may not know, during their trainee days, Yoongi had a job as a food delivery boy. He got into a motor accident and didn’t tell anyone about his dislocated shoulder for fear of being let go as a trainee. When he finally told the company what happened, they did the opposite of what he feared and instead took care of his medical bills, told him that they would wait [to heal] and asked him to try again. In the end, they paid for his college tuition fees, so he would no longer need to worry about working a part-time job.
He tells the full story in episode 3 of Burn The Stage:
still processing with my brother because i feel like the wind got knocked out of me. he is also just as stunned. really an understatement to say that you deserve the world, min yoongi. 😭
only saw Amygdala 15 mins ago. i dont think i can muster rewatching within the day but this is really what we mean when we say bts are such strong role models. yoongi never romanticized all that suffering but im just so so relieved he overcame it all. thank god for music 😭
