JAY B is also a Fashion Icon and has modelled for the top Designers, causing a media and fan frenzy wherever he goes, always the Main Event. JAY B is also an active philanthropist, but prefers to give back meaningfully and quietly without seeking attention, often donating privately. He is praised by the press and fans for his caring personality and long-term commitment to children's welfare. In 2017, he donated ₩10 million to the Pohang Earthquake Relief Fund. From 2018–2021, he was an ambassador to ChildFund Korea, the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, which supports underprivileged children, In 2020, he donated to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association and to relief efforts and families in need during COVID-19. By December 2021, his cumulative donations exceeded ₩100 million (approx. $85,000 USD), earning him membership in the prestigious Green Noble Club (for donors of 100M+ won) with Fans contributing through merchandise and performance proceeds. In 2023, he donated ₩60 million (approx. $46,000 USD) to aid victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake. This was during his military service.
