A price of anything is the sum of its net present value of the expected profits. Even if Cybercab is making just $1000 a month on its own for 10 years, the Cybercab should be priced at over $100K + the used car price at year 10. Either Cybercab and/or FSD needs to be expensive or ride cost will be really, really cheap. Either way, itโll be a shock to the status quo equilibrium. Itโs a glimpse of amazing abundance for everyone, Elon was saying.
I swear to the Lord, Heavenly Fatherโฆ Iโm going to become one of the largest Tesla Cybercab fleet owners in the U.S.
Watching this thing pull up to pick me up felt unreal.
The headlights literally flashed green at me as it approached.
Then the doors opened.
The trunk opened.
Huge cargo space.
Beautiful design.
No driver.
No steering wheel.
I got inโฆ and just sat there thinkingโฆ
This is the future of transportation.
And I donโt just want to ride in Cybercabs.
I want to OWN them.
A LOT of them.
Bc if Tesla can scale this the way I believe they can, these things are going to be out there working, driving people around, and generating revenue over and over again 24/7.
This thing is going to print $$$.
And I fully intend to be part of it.
๐ฏ And the ride-hailing market will become even bigger as the cost is low enough for people to casually use cybercab instead of their cars more often. And that pattern will start reshaping how the city looks overall. Parking lots and parking structures will be reduced, replaced, or repurposed.
@Tesla Dear Tesla, if thereโs any space left, could you consider inviting me - I was invited to the We Robot event as a shareholder (hanbros@gmail). Wish I could be part of this historic moment. ๐
@rhensing@aelluswamy Impressive! I always wondered how FSD would handle Roads to Hana in Maui. There are a couple dozen such scenarios back-to-back there.
