Having Hereditary Spastic Paraplegic Cerebral Palsy (try saying that 5 times fast) can be a hard and dark. Learning to laugh about it clears my heart and head.
I have no way of proving this, but I’m pretty sure my campus convenience store moved the Mountain Dew to a lower shelf because they where tired of seeing me struggle to reach it.
Today I had to climb several flights of stairs at a doctor's office because the elevator was broken 😒. While I was climbing, SOFTER TO ME, by Relient K started playing from my phone. I'm thankful for a good laugh.

Nowadays when people yell at me on the street to wear a mask I just yell back, very deliberately as if I’m politely explaining something to a dimwitted person, “oh no ma’am you see, I’m extremely handsome, it’s a public service.”
Wheelchair user here. I don't actually want or need this. It isn't helpful. It doesn't account for inaccessibility beyond entry points.
