@cjsnowdon @K_Niemietz Capitalism has given me solar panels, a battery and air conditioning. Currently comfortable inside and exporting power to the grid. Climate activists would get much further if they embraced today’s technology and stopped listening to these fruit loops.

@ApricotPopPop @RogerHallamCS21 Not if you have solar panels, and a battery. Currently generating 2.5kw, exporting 1.8, 700W powering the house including cooling. Currently 21.5 degrees inside, with enough power stored to keep cool all night. The technology exists to be comfortable and not trash the climate.

It’s not inconceivable though that Simons resigned his seat without consulting Burnham, and by publicly declaring he wanted AB to have it has put AB in a situation where he can’t say no and has to go with it - in full expectation that he’ll lose to Reform.
