Long post warning.

Around July I decided to try something different. After having been a lawyer at a large law firm for years, I decided to make a few life changes. The first being starting my own company. Of course, I did what I am passionate about, I created a design oriented baseball company - to create things that are completely different. Something that would be fun and also allow us to create a vehicle to "give back" through our sales (our real mission).

Specifically, I founded a company called "Goat'd"🐐 with @handsbymike . I poured my savings and time into the venture and on January 15, 2024 launched our first product a sliding mitt.

So far the response has been awesome and somedays overwhelming. We have also seen an incredibly positive reaction from some of the top players in the country. Which is more than fun. Each day I get to talk to baseball players and we get to design cool stuff for them to wear.

But, coming at the end of March I get to do what I am even more passionate about, we get to start donating our sales proceeds to a charity that helps orphans obtain an education in Kenya. I can't think of a more worthy cause. Talk about finding something to get out of bed for each morning and something to fight for.

I want to thank everyone on this site for their inspiration and for letting me watch the best hitting / infield coaches in the world - pour their passion into their players. Without all of you, not sure I would know how to do this.
