@SHABAZGIL Really I don’t think you studied in some international institution. Its like someone has sold your stolen bike to someone and you are asking the buyer why did you purchased this instead of catching the thief. Critisim on U of Hull is total rubbish and shows uneducated minds

@GillianKeegan@educationgovuk Your universities are failing to fulfill their promises due to government delays. My ATAS application is now 8 months old and yet to receive the decision. No one taking this issue seriously and universities are embarrassing in front of students
Int'l students losing funding and researchers unable to take up jobs in UK because Atas security checks taking as long as 6 months to process. Delays “significant and unacceptable”, says @viviennestern. Scoop by @jgro_the https://t.co/MTPGYcQzmZ
@A_M_Graham Hi, I agree universities are accepting students without any discrimination but delays in the issuance of ATAS certificate by @FCDOGovUK is pushing the university offer in danger. In my case it’s more than 7 months now. I hope escalating this process will help many students.
@UUKIntl@KateGreenSU I am a PhD student working on green energy fields. I have fully funded offer but @FCDOGovUK delays on ATAS is the biggest hurdle. It’s been more than 7 months with no response. Standard time was 10 days. This is not we can bring great ideas into practice.
@GillianKeegan I agree with you but we cannot promote high level education unless we fulfill the responsibility. We are waiting for ATAS certificate for more than 7 months and there is no update from @FCDOGovUK on this. Our research and career is in dark because of @FCDOGovUK.
@PhilipRBarton@FCDOGovUK Hi, we are students waiting for 7 months on ATAS certificate. And there is no response from @FCDOGovUK. We are also humans and we also have right to know the progress. Standard time was 10 working days
