one of my least controversial opinions is that, during summer, schools should be converted to extracurricular community centers for kids (that still provide breakfast and lunch) instead of being left empty for months.
America should have a universal job guarantee. We have so much work to do as a country. We should have centers that I can show up to at 7am with my ID and get assigned work for the day. Trash clean up, food pantry distribution I mean the possibilities are endless
The fact that this is her final song as Hannah Montana, bidding our childhood a last goodbye, is so emotional. Our generation really had the best childhood, no one’s topping that.
I don’t follow hockey, but this had me tearing up. They brought their teammate’s (who was killed by a drunk driver) kids out onto the ice with their dad’s jersey to celebrate the moment. 🥹
