Hide the engagement, and announce the marriage.
Announce the arrival of your first child only after the baby is safely born
Announce your jobs after you have been accepted and have begun working.
Keep your projects private until they come to life, then share the joy of their opening with people.
Keep your travel plans to yourself, and let the memories speak after you return.
Keep your intention to buy valuable things such as homes, cars, and other possessions private, and rejoice in them once they are truly in your hands.
Not everything that is planned needs to be announced, and not every blessing should be spoken about before it is complete. Some things become more beautiful when they are surrounded by discretion until Allah brings them to completion in the best way.
DON’T JOKE WITH THIS DUA: Ya Allah when the day of Arafah ends, let me wake up as someone different. Cleaner. Peaceful. Closer to You. Please Don’t let this be just another day I wasted. Let it be the day that changed my eternity
Medical misogyny is so real. Yesterday my sister noticed her period pain was more intense than usual. So we went to the hospital. In the emergency room, there was a man with slight abdominal pain who was given Percoset and immediately sent his test to the laboratory, and when the doctor came to check on my sister, he said, “It’s just your normal period pain & symptoms” then gave her Ibuprofen and sent us home…. Today her symptoms got worse, and we went again, and guess what, it was an ovarian cyst!...they conducted an ultrasound on my request! .....a man with abdominal pain is more serious to them apparently and A woman’s pain is normalized like women are supposed to suffer!
