The Nubian Rights Forum joined fellow civil society organizations at the press briefing to condemn the escalating intimidation, harassment, and attacks against The Institute for Social Accountability (TISA), its Executive Director, staff, and the broader civic space in Kenya.

We are among the 183+ signatories of today’s joint press statement demanding an immediate end to state-sponsored surveillance, raids, and violence against human rights defenders. The Constitution protects our right to speak truth to power and we will not be silenced.

Nubian Rights Forum today hosted Uhaki Radio Show and discussed The Environment and Land Court ruling which upheld the allocation of 288 acres in Kibra to the Kibra Nubian Community Land Trust ruling the process lawful, transparent, and in line with public participation requirements.
