@_ericblanc It makes sense that unions do transactional politics and back the likely winner. What's troubling is that the unions' backing seems to matter less and less lately. Why pay attention to them politically, then?
Stupid framing, as usual with these guys. Mamdani-like policies are popular across the electorate, like Mamdani himself. Centrist Democrats, on the other hand, are the most disliked group of people in America according to every poll, and they have little “appeal”.
