@Teezerohero Absolutely no payoff in that beat, and he thinks he’s John Bonham with a drum machine but without any of the judgement on where to put triplets
@Mirothestallion I think it’s a sport you have to play or see from a young age to have an easy appreciation for. If Americans who aren’t familiar with it get into it because of the big hits and tough fights, great. But that’s not why I loved the sport when I was 5, and it’s not why I love it now
@EvanRomano I remember the Dunkirk year. People (myself included) were convinced it had Best Picture locked up in mid August. Come February of the next year, all momentum it had was completely gone, regardless of it definitely being the best film of its year
@TheCinesthetic Great movie that doesn’t get its due. I like to think that Dormer is just Vincent Hanna from Heat a decade or so later without the coke habit, just a shell of his former self
@BareLeft I’ve always found privatization odd because 1) you’re permanently getting rid of an asset that might prove profitable in the long term, and 2) you’re virtually guaranteeing that your citizens receive poorer/less universal access to the services you sold off, all for more money
