Finishing up my session, I briefly visited the german language version of the page and amended similar changes - rephrasing the mention of the sexual encounter and also changing a patronising sounding phrase about Ireland at the time #EditWikiLit

I am editing the Wikipedia page of Roddy Doyle's 'The Snapper', which is currently a stub article. I started by finishing the plot summary, which cuts short the novel's conclusion,including Sharon's giving birth. #EditWikiLit

Finishing some lighter changes to expand the article by adding information about Adaptations. Here is a before and after of Adaptations and the expansion of sources. #EditWikiLit

Changes made are changing "one night stand" to "sexual encounter"; And the addition of a sentence mentioning the widespread non-consensual interpretation, including a few sources like the novel itself and a recent article by The Irish Times #EditWikiLit

I added some further tweaks to the plot summary, changing a repeated sentence and adding some information about what happens to Sharon's relationships to her father and friends in the last third of the novel. #EditWikiLit
