Today I was sitting on my porch, enjoying the sunshine and the rest of my day off after returning from the memorial service of a friend who died far too soon. A woman and her dog stopped at my yard, and the dog plopped down on my grass. 1/
i can’t believe y’all still bitch about babies crying in public. i don’t have kids but i started tuning that shit out at like age 12 because crying babies are kind of just an unavoidable fact of life? bc babies exist? and parents still need to go places even though they have one?
Every year as we move away from the events of 9/11, I find the images of the towers falling don’t impact the way they use to. I now try to focus on individual stories from that day to help remind me of the emotions I felt. This year I want to focus on the dogs of 9/11
