Why does it always rain when I spend the time outdoors?
@g_eds For me it would be "Getting stopped and being asked for help/advice while attempting to walk across campus to buy lunch"
Actually it would be much higher than 3, there were days when I seemed to do more support work while in the corridors and refectory than sat at my desk ๐คฃ
Hilda and I are going on a really long walk in late December to raise some funds for four charities.
If you can, please consider sponsoring us.
our charities are:
Helping Haxby Hedgehogs
@YorkshireAirAmb@YorksWildlife@BritishRedCross

Want to come work in the same team as me?
I promise I don't always talk about animals and being a taste-tester for new cake recipes is always voluntary (although there is usually a queue).

@9aulH When the leadership race first opened I said that Hilda would be the best choice. Then I realised that she would have to be a member of a political party but at only 7 human years old she was too young so her political career ended before it began.
Will stick with Agility.
@9aulH You could also try Terry Pratchett Carpet People or the Truckers/Diggers/Wings trilogy. Again lovely short chapters so you can always give in and read another one
@9aulH I got my niece (7.5) Enid Blighton The Magic Faraway Tree. Yes they are chapters but each chapter is a story on it's own and are short enough that you can read more than one if time permits.
Something I was doing earlier today got me thinking and counting and eventualy realised that 30 years ago I was approaching the end of my first term of my first year at university.
Thirty years!?!?!
I feel old now.
