Things like this makes you wonder if there's more to this student ban visa in some countries like China Japan and Australia then just corona virus because it's absurd to welcome tourists and business visa holders and exclude the most crucial visa

There have been some exceptions as to who has been allowed to enter china most of which were allowed before vaccination : South Korean, NYU Shanghai, Tianjin Julliard, Georgia Tech Shenzhen students.
