Ireland’s lost a beautiful Irish language poet yesterday.

Máire Mhac an tSaoi revolutionised Irish language poetry. Her most famous poem - Ceathrúintí Mháire Ní Ógáin - published in 1956, was extraordinary for its rebellious attitude towards the Church. With English translation
