Madi and I both had great games yesterday. While her team came out on top, mine fell short. Thank you Daily Reporter for capturing this moment and the reminder that the game is about more than just stats. It’s about the friendships and connections we’ve built over the years!

On Wednesday we were up 6-4 against Lawrence North when the game was called at the bottom of the 3rd, but not before I hit a 3 run HR to center field!

An 8-2 win Monday against a conference opponent set us up to compete in the conference championship tomorrow. I finished the night with 2 walks, 1 run, and no errors on 6 chances in the field.

I hit my first career grand slam tonight on our way to a 14-2 win and went 2-2 at the plate with 5 RBI’s!

We went 2-1 last week and remain undefeated in conference play! I also hit my first home run of the season, a three run home run over center field.

Finished the week with a great conference win! I went 3 for 5 batting, had a ROE, 2 RBI’s and one run scored. Looking to pick up three more wins this week!

I had a great weekend at the Gameday Showcase in Warsaw, IN. Although we came up short, I batted .571 with an OBP of .625, while fielding 1.000.

Although it did not end how we’d wanted it, I am super grateful to have the season we did. I got to play under a talented group of seniors, and ended the season 26-3.

Great win over Triton Central 14-0 Tuesday to win regionals. Excited to be headed to Semi-State this weekend and looking to get the job done.

Excited to have caught the final out for the team during the sectional championship game. Even more fun was seeing my teammates’ reactions in the pictures knowing that we had won the game 16-0.

I had a great start to my high school season, getting a home run at my first at bat. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds after spring break!

[Hannah Wittgren @hannah_wittgren]

Due to an injury on my team, I played out of my comfort zone at 1st base this past weekend. My footwork wasn’t perfect for that position but I managed to get the outs! I will be working this weekend on the footwork so I’m ready for 11/4-11/5 Music City Fall Nationals in TN.
