🗣Use those voices Buckeyes❗️
Best. NCAA Championships. Ever! That is what the Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team accomplished over four days at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The Buckeyes just achieved the highest NCAA finish in program history: seventh and with the most points scored, 215.5.
Friday at the NCAA Championships ended with the Buckeyes' 200 medley relay team flexing more Scarlet and Gray pride by taking third in 1:34.96 and narrowly missing the school record of 1:34.46. The team: Emily Crane, Hannah Bach, Katherine Zenick and Taylor Petrak.

For the third time this year Hannah Bach has set the Ohio State record in the 100 breaststroke. After breaking her own record at Big Tens and then breaking it again this morning, Bach swam to a 57.94 time to take fifth at these NCAA Championships.
Yes. Yes. Yes!!! Hannah Bach, ladies and gentlemen, didn't just break her own school record twice today, but she also won the Big Ten championship in the 100 breaststroke with a record time of 58.29. Hanna Gresser and Leah Baker joined her in the finals, finishing 6th and 7th.
Senior Kristen Romano opens Day 2 at the Big Ten championships with a victory in the 200 individual medley in 1:54.19. Katie Trace (6th), Hanna Gresser (8th), Josephine Panitz (9th) and Sarah Turchanik (12th) also scored for Ohio State and had NCAA "B" qualifying times.
The 200 MR win was all about the team ... but we just have to call out Hannah Bach and her 26.03 breaststroke split which is the 10th fastest in American history and makes Bach the fourth-fastest swimmer, after Lilly King, Kasey Carlson and Kayla Brumbaum.
"This is a dominant relay by these women." Ohio State's 400 medley relay team of Emily Crane, Hannah Bach, Katie Trace and Taylor Petrak broke the Ohio State school record by nearly a second to win another Big Ten title for the Buckeyes in 3:29.39.
Congratulations to Pete, Riley, Karen, Claire and Ethan for their fantastic high school careers and for continuing their educational and athletic careers next year! BEE SO VERY PROUD, ALWAYS!
