Have you ever tried dairy cow meat? Would you if one of the world’s most famous chefs told you it was “better than Wagyu?” Check out my latest for @AmbrookResearch https://t.co/2vosAEfUsu
Brought to tears by this incredibly important piece from @OmarMouallem and @macleans today. It’s so sad to see harm reduction become a political tool rather than what it truly is: a life saving measure.

@grassrootspr@AmbrookResearch How interesting! From what I’ve been told, the lives of dairy cows in the USA are a bit more … privileged, which seems to contribute to more pleasing meat. That, and the particular breeding of Jerseys and Holsteins that make up the current dairy cows supply.
Ever heard of phages? These tiny viruses are the most abundant organism on Earth, and may hold the solution to the recent rise in #antimicrobialresistance. Read my latest for @AmbrookResearch: https://t.co/ldxYGepNb5
Do you know about "phages," which are tiny predator viruses that can be released in the body to find and destroy say, E.coli or listeria? They're a cheap and effective antibiotic replacement, but the U.S. isn't into them.

This is one of the most fascinating things I've read in a long time, about how new technology helps researchers listen to the language of plants. (Whom Indigenous cultures, animists, and panpsychists have always known are talking)

“Around planting time you have a very small window to get stuff in the ground … you’re fighting rain and mud, you need your seeds on time.”
New legislation would force America's truckers to slow down — farm groups aren't having it. From @hannahmacready: https://t.co/3KsiaPiumd
Farmers are tentatively embracing AI, though concerns about accuracy, utility, and environmental damage abound.
