@justinbustin47 I mean, that sounds like it's mostly about one specific topic (probs ltd by characters for nuance), but yeah, I think I get what you mean. It may depend on what the observation is, but generally yes, people do tend to get lumped into stereotypes based on a few opinions.

@justinbustin47 I think certainly media literacy is a huge challenge. 100%. I find myself trusting first impressions far more often than I'd like to admit. It's been really helpful to pursue/follow fact-checking sources to try to insulate myself from that instinct lol

@justinbustin47 Accountability is so huge. Hypocrisy should be called out. I would disagree that it's awkward - we should always be addressing flaws in leadership. I don't think I've seen that awkwardness? But it may just be the rampantly critical circles I run in lol

@justinbustin47 I don't think I saw national vitriol towards Trump being hard on Russia/China, just that he was chaotic with it? I would also add immigration policy; they haven't changed much there.

That being said, I wouldn't say these two areas of commonality rep the parties as a whole.
