Do you ever feel a bit suspicious of God? Especially when life seems dark & confusing? I confess I've wrestled with these feelings. And I don't think I'm alone. That's why I'm sharing about it in my devotion "Finding Purpose in the Darkness" here: https://t.co/HDCCbJK6V4

There is a favorite story I like to tell myself. It’s the one about how my life should turn out.
But in the end I’ve discovered - I would have never been brave enough to write it as messy and marvelous as God.
So, I’m choosing to take His hand and simply live it.
reminder to college students:
everything is okay.
you will make it through these next few weeks of craziness.
remember WHY you’re working toward your degree, and that God has you here for a reason.
small, uncomfortable beginnings can lead to great stories.
hang in there!!!!

Waiting is difficult,
but it becomes possible
when you choose to wait with Him,
knowing that your hope is still secured
no matter what has or has not happened.
God really does have it all worked out. The gaps are filled. The heartache is eased. The provision is ready. The needs are met.
Fully. Completely. Perfectly.
In Him. With Him. By Him.
Lord, I know this is true. Help me live today as evidence that I believe this.
The crucial detail for us to have peace when we feel unsure what tomorrow holds is to stay close to the Lord.
We think we want comfort in the I-don’t-know times of life. But comfort isn’t a solution to seek; rather, it’s a by-product we’ll reap when we stay close to the Lord.
If we find ways to be thankful I promise we will all be happier. Let’s press in to that this season.
Not the lame parts of life. Come on fam!!!! Less go!!
Waiting isn’t always easy. In fact...it can be downright miserable. But don’t underestimate what God is doing in your season of waiting.
If He was faithful before, you can be sure that He’ll be faithful again.
