One last tweet for the semester!! I had such a great time in this class, and I definitely credit it to the group of people we had! G5 had some great discussions, and I know we all had fun together learning about the teenage girl #1102girlhood
Almost all done with the history girl project! I had forgotten how much goes into a full research project, but I have learned SO much about Anna Wintour and her crazy teenage life #1102girlhood
@teengirl061899 I agree! I think there’s so much crossover with the general layout of ya novels that it worked kind of like our novel presentations did! #1102girlhood
The more I think about it the more it makes sense that Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada is based off of Anna Wintour. They are both very sarcastic, powerful, and intimidating #1102girlhood#historygirlproject
"Every time they rotate onto a new track, our room transforms to match it--"My Heart Will Go On" changes our room into the bow of the Titanic..." Can Warcross be a real game? #1102girlhood
I think a major theme we can see from majority of the novels we have read this semester is change. There are so many strong willed teenage characters who go through drastic changes & authors do this on purpose to relate to real life #1102girlhood
"If we calculate the gravitational forces of all the objects we can detect, it's not enough to keep galaxies and stars in orbit around each other." #1102girlhood
After finishing my YA novel this weekend, I've decided the main character Natasha is definitely a Tech student. plz enjoy this quote thread of evidence #1102girlhood
"Please. Words on paper. Can you use the scientific method on it? Can you observe it, measure it, experiment with it, and repeat your experiments?" #1102girlhood
"Like hydrogen-7 or lithium-5 or boron-7, love has an infinitesimally small half-life that decays to nothing. And when its gone, its like it was never there at all." #1102girlhood
