@lady_valor_07 my guess is 1988. I don't know how common air conditioning was I'm guessing adoption ranged based on where you lived and how well off you were. still many probably wouldn't have opted for AC in the 80s. vcr is in really good condition though.

@gatorgar I'd be interested to know how it goes for you. I hope the best. But I am curious if there's something that we congregations and churches could do better to help one feel more at home in an unfamiliar environment. I suspect all churches would be interested to know that.

@gatorgar It's kinda a difficult situation for the church. Some people like the greetings. Other people--I think--want solitude. I imagine it's equally difficult for newcomers though. For some denominations you may need to know ritual things. (Do you kneel? Take communion? etc)
