JUST IN: Petrus Uusiku (30) and Petrus Kuume Shikwaya (21) have been granted bail of N$2 000 each by Magistrate Olga Muharukua in a matter involving allegations of conspiracy to commit corruption.
The two appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court this afternoon, where the matter was postponed to 12 October for final remand proceedings.
Despite being granted bail in the matter, both men will remain in custody due to a pending separate murder case before the Ondangwa Magistrate's Court relating to the death of control prosecutor Justine Shiweda.
The Windhoek case stems from charges that were amended two months ago after the State withdrew murder charges against the pair and substituted them with a charge of conspiracy to commit corruption. The original charges had been brought under Section 18(2)(a) of the Riotous Assemblies Act.
Uusiku was represented by defence lawyer Joas Neemwatya, while Shikwaya was represented by Murray Shikongo.

This is what’s currently happening in Nigeria 🇳🇬, yet they’re busy making noise and obsessing over South Africa. Muslims are killing Christian children, women, and men, but as loud and stupid as Nigerians are, they stay completely quiet about it. Anything with a South African name, however, gets them horny in an instant and triggers an immediate reaction. They even broadcast discussions about foreign soccer, banning other countries for not tolerating their hooligan behaviour. But when it comes to the mouth of killings and children being kidnapped in their own country, they can’t stand up to it. They call themselves smart — they’re only smart in their stupidity. Nigerians make me sick. That country should be discontinued and erased from the map.

People of Namibia 🇳🇦
It would seem that People Bringing in NGUNGULA from Angola can GO AHEAD according to news from the Minister. Since the FUEL is coming from Angola, and they will just drop the FUEL at the Borders, they don’t need an OIL LICENSE, JUST LIKE VITOL. Since people who practiced law for 20 Years (including the Head of Legal Department at FNB) FAILED a test with NO ONE getting more than 50%, it seems that we will get a Retired PROSECUTOR GENERAL from Malawi or Zimbabwe, JUST LIKE how we got Retired High Court Judges. It looks like Veteran Grants will be suspended or not paid, JUST Like NSFAF and OLD Age Pensions. Ndee okalongo ketweeni okaVusa nayi. Oto Afraida kaana komuBorni. But I will finish soon and return home to restore order!🤔
