..it for me. I couldn't tolerate that state any more. Now she wants me back but unfortunately my attention is elsewhere. I felt disrespected. Hopefully she won't make that same mistake in her next relationship. I now love my Tati. 😍.
I was patient because I understand that it is not easy to accept as a lover, someone you only met online. It requires an extensive study of that person and online it is not easy. But after 2 and half years, she still showed interest without allowing us to move forward. That was...
I knew Babe did her homework about who was my previous woman.😂.Started online, she really wanted it but for some reason played too many games with me.I warned her multiple times that I would leave her.She had a good 2 years and now she's living with regrets trying to be back.
I couldn't tolerate waiting for a woman for more than 2 years. Regardless of her reasons, it was too much. Regrets only come when you lose somebody to your own mistake. Unfortunately she's going to have to accept the fact that my attention is elsewhere now.
What resonated with me was the journey of a valiant warrior. The tale of a man determined to fight against all odds to be reunited with his family once more. Love those courageous and honorable tales in a fantasy setting. #Theodyssey#Movie#Movies
He's not entirely wrong. Expected more than what I watched. Not a bad movie nor a great one. Good enough for a second watch. Not good enough to allow myself to watch it more than twice. #Theodyssey#movies
I just watched Christopher Nolan’s #TheOdyssey and I left the cinema with a deep sense of disappointment.
I entered expecting Homer’s world to breathe: salt in the air, darkness over the sea, gods watching from a distance, and a wounded man struggling to return home. Instead, ancient Greece vanished beneath a cold and generic Hollywood spectacle.
The characters felt like modern actors wearing ancient costumes. The dialogue had no poetry, the casting carried none of the story’s identity, and the deepest themes of exile, loyalty, grief and homecoming were buried beneath noise and expensive images.
Because The Odyssey is not really about monsters. The Cyclops, the Sirens and the storms are only the visible dangers. The true journey takes place within Odysseus himself. It asks whether a man can lose his companions, his youth, his name and twenty years of his life, yet still return without losing the person he once was.
That is why the story has survived for almost 3,000 years. Every human being is trying to return to something: a home, a love, an identity, or the self they were before life changed them.
A $250 million production somehow made one of humanity’s greatest meditations on memory, mortality and belonging feel empty. Hollywood borrowed Homer’s name and prestige, but abandoned the soul that made his story immortal.
This was not The Odyssey. It was a monument to money, arrogance and the belief that spectacle can replace meaning.
More laws are to be passed to help lessen the hits that this reality will bring in the next 20 years or so. It is unstoppable, but better preparedness will assure a more manageable transition.
Ignorance will bring great fear to people, and the unrighteous shall tremble because of their unrighteousness. But God's people and those who are born of good nature will sing glorious songs. What a beautiful time it will be. Give it 30 years or so to grasp my words.
unrighteous people will be destroyed for good. Then the new earth shall be born. This is the ultimate truth. Watch the next 20 years unfolding. But there is no need to be scared of. This will all lead to an everlasting life. :)
It's going to get a lot worse overtime, and I speak from a place of understanding and spiritual wisdom. It is going to get worse before it gets better. This 30 years or so left of this world is to bring everlasting peace but suffering shall be great first. In that time,...
I would lie if I were to say that things will improve. This world shall deteriorate over time to lead to God's dominion mentioned here: Daniel 2: 41-45. Our lord is not a God of disorder. And this world was never meant to endure. A shift is happening. Give it 30 years.
The wildfire situation has escalated significantly over the last three weeks across the country, and particularly in Northwestern Ontario.
Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their communities, not knowing if their homes will survive.
On behalf of Canadians, I want to thank the brave firefighters, first responders, Indigenous and local leaders who are working tirelessly to keep people safe.
Our government is in close contact with provincial, municipal, and Indigenous partners and stands ready to provide any additional support as needed.
Less than 24 hours to go before I see #Theodyssey. My kind of movie. About to rewatch #Troy, a movie I've watched at least 3 times, to freshen my mind and set up the mood for tomorrow. 👊👊
Just watched Nolan’s #TheOdyssey . If you are planning to watch but dont know anything about the story, Here’s a 5-min Homework you can do so you are not lost..
Note: If you’ve seen the movie Troy (2004) or know the basic Trojan War story, you’re 80% there. Because this story picks up right after Troy falls.
Backstory:
Helen, considered one of the beautiful woman in the world, is married to a Spartan king named Menelaus. A Trojan prince named “Paris” comes and takes her away (Another version says she runs away with him)
Menelaus is furious, calls in every Greek king who owes him a favor, and one of those kings is Odysseus, ruler of a small island called Ithaca.
Odysseus doesn’t even want to go as he’s got a newborn son and a wife back home but he’s bound by an old oath, so he leaves anyway. That’s why he’s at war in the first place. Its not his war.
The war drags on for years until Odysseus, the smartest guy of all, comes up with the Trojan horse tactic and ends it in one night. Troy falls and the greeks start to sail back home
That’s where The Odyssey actually begins. The setbacks and events he faces on the way back is the story.
Now, the people you need to know:
Let's move on from this #ENG game. They almost did it but misfortune stroke. #FIFAWORLDCUP#FIFAWORLDCUP2026. Now we think about this weekend movie. 2 days to go before #Theodyssey .
