I learnt something hard a few years ago, that in all honesty we should all learn when we’re young.
You can only look after yourself. You can care about and for others, but only you can look after you.
I’m good, I’m perfectly happy, but I hate being lied to.
The Job needs fixing, not pretending everything is going to be mended ‘sometime soon’.
We have antiquated systems that work better than the brand new one we’ve paid millions of pounds for.
We have a purpose made case file system that everyone understood and never broke being ignored in the face of embarrassment.
We can’t retain experienced Cops or New Cops.
Most importantly we don’t deliver the simple thing we’re meant to do, get there when you call 999.
And I genuinely don’t think there’s a strategy to fix it. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am.
Anyway, Late Turn beckons and once again we have very few Officers on duty who will work their socks off and do what they can to keep London safe. #ThinBlueLine 🚨
@lizardschwartz I went with Agria and took the highest cover for Indie. Also got multi-cover for the kit kats 😎 really friendly customer service and fair prices for the cover!
@blackrat1973@domdyer70 It's not 'contained' on the footpath!? It's still accessible to members of the public and the gentleman or police officers involved could have fallen in the water which increases the risk and justification for their use of force.
@sjmjarvis @MetCC@navaade_@metpoliceuk I'm sure the officer explained their necessity for arrest but as usual we are only shown a small part of the video, not the full thing. It isn't clear how the male has ended up on the floor. It's unfair for you to comment on how officers should detain him when you're not trained
