it is with the heaviest of heart that I must tell you that my best friend, handsome wee man, beautiful doggo Jimbob crossed the rainbow bridge this morning, me and the wife are devastated, run free 💔🥲🐶🌈
Scots dont want new nuclear we don't even need, only for it to be used to transfer energy into England and the companies charged for the export - meanwhile the same companies generating IN England pays France to take their energy.
Fuck new nuclear, and fuck datacentres too.
Gorgeous Lab Retriever MAC is looking for a new home.
Sadly Macs owner is seriously unwell and won’t be able to care for Mac any more.
MAC is very friendly. He is very loving and affectionate and loves to meet new people.
He’s been use to a cat and also another small dog.
Mac is also registered with the vets and healthy with no issues.
He is 7 years young and very playful and spritely.
Mac is house trained and travels well in the car. He can be strong on the lead.
He would suit someone who doesn’t have young children - we don’t know how he would be with small kids.
A home with older teens over 14 is fine.
Mac is neutered.
We don’t have a lot of information sadly as his previously owner can no longer communicate, so the information we do have is what we have found out and shared from the vets.
If you’d like to give this lovely lad a home please email us directly on [email protected] with some information about yourself (including where you stay and if you meet the criteria above).
Sorry we can’t accept private messages or comment enquiries.
If you need help to rehome your pet please call us on 0330 133 4594.
Can we please have a BIG push of shares for Astrid?
Astrid is a 5 year old female German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois. She is available and looking for a new home.
Astrid is chipped and spayed and also healthy with no medical issues.
She would suit a home with someone who is active and can give her plenty of walks and attention.
Astrid eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on her own.
She travels well in the van with her dog walker but can be car sick. She sleeps in her owners room at night either on the bed or her own bed on the floor.
Astrid likes to meet new people and gets excited. She would be fine around teenagers but not small children.
Astrid doesn’t like cats. She is registered with the vets.
She is fine on group walks but when she is with her owner she can be reactive to other dogs as she thinks she is protecting her owner.
A home with no other animals is best for Astrid and her needs.
She is use to spending time alone at home with background music left on for her. Astrid is excellent at letting you know when she needs the toilet. She is kept on a lead when out on walks as she can be reactive to other dogs but not all dogs. She is also use to a long lead and loves to play with her toy or a ball. Astrid sees playing with toys or a ball as a job and doesn't pay much attention to other dogs unless they come into her space.

Vincent is a beautiful 5 year old male cat. He is looking for a new home through no fault of his own.
Vincent hasn't lived with other animals or young children before so we don't know how he would be.
He would be best as the only pet. Older kids who are calm, from 13+ would be okay.
Vincent is neutered and healthy with no medical issues.
He is a sensitive and affectionate cat and likes a peaceful home.
Vincent enjoys gentle strokes and once settled, enjoys being brushed.
He is an indoor cat at the moment, however would thrive with access to the outdoors.
Vincent will come with his carry box, scratch tree and sleeping blankets.
He has a lot of love to give and will be a perfect companion for someone or a couple.

We’re really really struggling to find Jake a home, we knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it’s not impossible.
If everyone who sees his post can share, the power of sharing really does make a difference.
Let’s help Jake have a better life.
Jake is a 6 year old Bearded collie x Boarder Collie.
Jake is a product of his environment. He lived in home with two elderly owners, and has grown up with both of them going through the various stages of dementia. Other than walk and feed Jake, both owners had no idea of how to train or look after a dog. As a result he has had a stressful life to date, and at times has suffered physical abuse as a method of control. This shows in his behaviour, (nervous, defensive and will attack if feels threatened).
Training has been at a basic level, house trained and walking on the lead.
Jake gets nervous of noise, phones ,hoovers etc. This will lead to excessive barking and with hoovers he will attack them. In the late evening he will start barking for no good reason. Probably this is related to his owners health condition as dementia sufferers symptoms get worse later in the day.
That sums up Jake’s bad points.
Outside Jake is a different dog. He no longer pulls on the lead when walking, takes a command to wait and is more comfortable with passing vehicles.
Small fast cars are still a slight issue. He is no problem when he meets people outside and will lie down should a conversation take place. Most times he is fine meeting other dogs. The exception is if another dog gets aggressive. He will respond. He does not like cats! It should be noted that Jake is also ok with people coming into the house.
He loves to run and fetch a ball. He will happily play outside all day if someone is throwing a ball. Currently this is done on a long rope lead as his play area is not fully enclosed.
Jake requires a quiet home with owners who understand the breed, and can continue to improve his issues. He is not ready ( and may never be) for a house with young children. He needs his space to regain the trust that a raised voice or hand is not a threat.
Over the past 6 weeks there has been an improvement in his behaviour. That said there is still a way to go before he becomes the dog he can and should be.
Jake has a diet of dry food mixed with a small sachet of wet food. In addition to this he does get treats, which he enjoys, as a reward.
From the limited experience with Jake he has been ok in the car.
Jake has and has always had a large cage that he goes into if left alone. He also sleeps in it at night. He is fit and healthy.

Can you please share to help Alfie find a home?
Alfie is a 1 year old Sprocker Spaniel. He is available and looking for a new home.
Alfie is good with kids but can be very excited meeting new people.
He is unsure of cats.
With other dogs, it depends on the other dogs nature towards him. As he hasn't lived with another dog, we don't know how he would be, therefore to make his new home transition easier for Alfie, we'd require a home with no other pets.
Alfie is healthy with no medical issues.
He eats Wainwrights Tray Variety dog food and sleeps in his crate.
He can be left for short periods of time.
Alfie is house trained but may have an accident.
He is also registered at the vets and can be very strong on the lead.
Ideally he would suit an owner that is use to the breed and can give Alfie lots of attention and further training.
He has never been in kennels.
A home with kids over 8 years old is best.
Alfie understands commands such as sit, spin, down and off when he jumps up.
He is up to date with his vaccinations.
For more information or to offer Alfie a new home, please email [email protected]

Orko is an 8 year old Border Terrier. He is available and looking for a new home.
Orko would be suitable with someone who has had the breed before.
He would be best in a home with no kids or other pets as he can be reactive to other dogs.
Orko is chipped and neutered. He is very food motivated.
Orko is very friendly and loving, he would be ideal for someone who is on their own looking for a companion.
Orko would eat all day if he could. He loves food and will eat at any opportunity.
He will take a treat but it does need to be given to him carefully as he gets excited and may snatch, however not in a bad way.
Orko is very active and is always on the go.
If he see's another dog he will bark at them.
He has previously had problems with his weight which has been up and down. This has been investigated by the vets.
He eats a mix of working dog food which is mixed with water, 3 times per day. Orko also likes treats.
He is fully house trained and can be left on his own, usually in his crate.
Orko travels in the car in the back seat with his doggy seat belt clipped in.
If he is in the boot he will bark.
Orko is registered with the vets and up to date with all his vaccinations.
He would suit someone who is active and can be patient with him.
Orko isn't a fan of the postman or delivery people.
His favourite thing to do is have a cuddle on the sofa and a belly rub, he makes cute noises and always wants attention.

Lily is looking for a new home.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Lily is looking for a new loving, forever home.
Lily is a 9 year old Domestic Shorthair Tabby.
Lilly had to move to a house with two other cats which hasn't worked out.
The stress and threat of being with the other two cats has had an effect on Lily as she has started to be reactive, will hiss and try to scratch which she never did before.
She is not suitable for a house with young children and lots of noise. She needs a home with no other animals and people who understand cats in order for her to build her trust and come out of her shell.
Lily loves attention, she is a very affectionate cat on her own terms, but can be a little spicey if not ready for interaction.
She would benefit from people who can give her time. To sleep she loves a comfy cushion on the sofa or nestling between pillows on the bed.
Lily is spayed, microchipped, registered with the Vet, no medical problems,. She can be left on her own, she eats wet food.
Lily will come with Carry Box, Scratch Box, Scratch Tree & Electronic Feeder.
Lily is an indoor/outdoor cat.
