Arrest the Killer of #Joseph Khamthangsang Serto Kom,BBA student at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Management (NERIM) in Guwahati.

Is this the way how murder is allowed in college campus ?

Here's what happened:

The Incident: Joseph was brutally assaulted by 8-10 fellow students on September 11. The attack, captured on CCTV, showed the severity of the incident.
Hospitalization and Death: Joseph fought for his life in the ICU at Apollo Hospital, Guwahati, for 19 days before succumbing to his injuries on Monday evening.

The intention behind the Meitei community's plan to march to the hill areas in Manipur appears to be a demonstration of #MeiteiSupremacy rather than a genuine effort to bring peace to the region. This is not the first such attempt; there have been several over the past 22 months of violence.

In August 2023, Meira Paibi leader Noutuneshwari instigated hundreds of Meitei women to forcefully breach the buffer zone and invade the Kuki Hills in Kangvai and Kangpokpi. In response, the Coordination Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) organized a public march to the hills in Kangvai (Churachandpur) on September 6, 2023. Unfortunately, this event resulted in more violence than peace.

Now, the recent proposal of "March to Hills" by the Federation of Civil Society(FOCS) on March 8, 2025, is likely to create even more tension among the general public, especially amidst the presidential rule currently in effect in the state.

The Governor of Manipur must intervene to halt this proposal before further catastrophes occur between the warring communities—the #Kuki and the #Meitei.

You started Killing the 79 #Kuki_Zo minority including women and children in May 3,2023 in Imphal,State capital where there is maximum security when no single hair of Meitei is touched in Kuki dominated areas.

COTU organised a Public Protest at Gamgiphai against unprovoked incessant attacks on Kuki areas such as Saibol, Mongneljang, Twichin and S Khonomphai by Meitei Militants since Christmas Eve.
An appeal was made so that the Valley Based Insurgency Groups (VBIGs) are withdrawn from the fringe areas.
