I’m one of the researchers working on this project. We are a team of researchers based at the University of Hertfordshire and University of Birmingham and we’ve been asked by @PDASociety to do this research.
We want to hear from adults who self-identify or have a diagnosis referencing extreme/pathological demand avoidance (EDA/PDA) or would likely meet the criteria, even if you don’t have a diagnosis or don’t agree with the terminology or framing.
📢 Call for participants for a study on demand avoidance
You can take part if you:
✅ are aged 18+
✅struggle to undertake everyday tasks and experience a stress response to demands
Take the survey here (closes 13th Sept): https://t.co/D4cNsFLfs7
Over the moon to have been awarded a @UKRI_News Future Leaders Fellowship! I'll be investigating how to interrupt the intergenerational transmission of mental health problems @UCLPALS
