I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something & I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do -Hale ❤️Nursing❤️
My pandemic fatigue is watching people who presumably share the same values as me, who wouldn’t deliberately harm other people or themselves, be complicit in spreading a deadly and disabling virus because they’ve been gaslit so hard into disbelieving the magnitude of risk & harm.
Literally everything new we learn about COVID is bad. Every day. Are people hoping we learn something good that justifies their repeat infections & refusal to mask? Because it’s been 4 years. You are not going to find evidence this is just “a cold.”
the thing about having a strong moral compass is that ultimately you make decisions based on what you know is right, not based on what you think will get the best response/get everyone to be nice to you…… 🪷
Wearing a mask is not a sign of living in fear. Quite the opposite, it's a sign of sticking to your guns in the face of intense (albeit irrational) social pressure not to.
It's a sign of being strong as fuck, smart as hell, and doing what you know is right.

I’ve been saying/ telling friends and family this for years, but, if you’re going to do a home Covid test, swab your throat AND your nose. And get as good of a sample as you can (not a brief swivel of the swab). No point in testing if you aren’t going to do it well 👇🏽
Honest question for those of yall who went “back to normal” when Biden said the pandemic was over:
Are you seriously not starting to see the society wide impact yet? The constant illness? The dropping test scores? The record high absences and staff shortages?
I don't think I will ever fully recover from the moral injury of watching so many people I respected and trusted being silent, if not actively selfish, through a deadly pandemic. Or being silent, if not actively bigoted, through horrific violence against civilians.
I try not to take it personally but it actually really fucking sucks that basically everyone I've ever known has been happy to abandon me because I am vocal about spreading disease being a shitty thing to do.
So much oops.
“Our findings suggest that COVID-19 contributed to the 2022 surge of RSV cases in young children through the large buildup of COVID-19-infected children and the potential long-term adverse effects of COVID-19 on the immune and respiratory systems.”
If the west can justify bombing hospitals, killing kids, murdering journalists and ethnic cleansing they’ll come for you too. They probably already have and you haven’t even noticed. How many times have you caught Covid? You trust them when they say it’s harmless?
Why does the current Covid situation piss me off so much? Because all it took for multiple generations of adults to betray the current, and future generations of kids, was for the government to dangle the carrot of “back to normal” and we were off to the races.

It has been said, but cannot be said enough right now. Opposing Zionism is not an attack on the Jewish people. Opposing Israel's genocide in Gaza is not an attack on the Jewish people. Calling for a ceasefire is not an attack on the Jewish people. Do not let anyone silence you.
I'm supposed to believe yall give a shit about the value of human life, when you won't wear masks in public to prevent infants dying of Covid. You won't wear a paper thin face mask for half an hour in the store to keep others safe. But sure, you're a humanitarian. Sure you are.
