On 22 April, Happitech will join the 2026 Stanford Biodesign New Arrhythmia Technologies Retreat in Chicago. CEO @ysharb and team will present our approach to smartphone-based heart rhythm monitoring and medtech innovation. #StanfordBiodesign#AtrialFibrillation#Arrhythmia
“Check je hartritme” is now live in 6 Dutch cardiology hospitals. Aligned with ESC/EHRA #PulseDay2026, posters link AF awareness to action: scan the QR code to access smartphone PPG heart rhythm assessment in the @Luscii1 app, powered by Happitech.
Selected Dutch🫀hospitals will run the “Check je hartritme” campaign (2–15 March), led by Dr Stefan Timmer and Quinta Steenbergen @noordwestzh supported by @Luscii1 & Happitech. Smartphone PPG AF screening plus clearer GP follow-up aims to shorten time to AF diagnosis.
Improve AF detection without costly wearables or implants. Happitech turns a patient’s smartphone camera into a clinically validated, CE-certified PPG monitor for triage and post-treatment follow-up, helping reduce unnecessary admissions and readmissions. #AFib#DigitalHealth
EHRA guidance: smartphone and wearable PPG can support scalable AF detection (especially 65+ at risk) and remote rhythm tracking. PPG may help rule out arrhythmia, but any positive or uncertain finding must be confirmed by ECG with physician oversight. #AFib
Happitech turns a smartphone camera into a clinically validated PPG tool for AF monitoring. Patients get at-home readings between appointments. Health systems get CE-marked, hardware-free monitoring that integrates with RPM and virtual care for scalable follow-up and triage.
AF can be intermittent and asymptomatic, so routine screening can miss episodes. Happitech turns a smartphone camera into a CE-marked heart rhythm monitor using clinically validated PPG and AI, supporting AF detection remotely or at the point of care, without extra hardware.
Advancing cardiac research with smartphone-based monitoring.
Happitech’s FastStart app turns smartphones into a CE-certified, TGA-approved tool for remote AF, heart rate and HRV measurements, supporting scalable, real-world studies across the EU and US. #digitalcardiology
AF management that fits existing workflows. Happitech’s PPG tech allows smartphones to monitor heart rhythms by integrating with RPM platforms, helping with triage and post-treatment AF monitoring without needing extra hardware, making things simpler and cost-effective.
“We need courage and change to implement existing digital technologies faster.” At #ESCAIsummit2025, Prof Gerhard Hindricks highlighted gaps in care. Happitech’s CE-marked smartphone PPG AF monitoring shows how existing devices can support better cardiac care.
PPG is at the heart of Happitech’s smartphone-based cardiac monitoring. We will be at ESC Digital & AI Summit 2025 in Berlin (21–22 Nov) and would like to meet researchers and innovators working on PPG, digital biomarkers and AI in cardiology. #ESCAIsummit2025#ESC
Congratulations to Ken Nelson, named MedTech Leader of the Year at MedTech World Malta 2025. Ken is a key advisor and advocate for Happitech’s smartphone-based AF monitoring, helping expand access to clinically validated heart rhythm assessments worldwide.
Did you know? 1 in 3 to 5 people over the age of 45 will develop atrial fibrillation (AF) in their lifetime.
Check your pulse. Know the signs. Take action.

For people living with AF, symptoms rarely appear in clinic. Happitech turns the smartphone camera into a CE-marked, physician-directed AF monitoring tool, providing quick rhythm checks anywhere and sharing reports for review within remote and virtual care.
Global AF Aware Week highlights early detection of atrial fibrillation to reduce stroke and heart failure risk. Happitech uses smartphone-based PPG for physician-prescribed, patient-initiated AF rhythm checks between visits. Track the rhythm. Find AF fast. #GAFAW2025
FastStart Research turns smartphones into validated cardiac research tools. CE-marked and TGA-approved PPG for HR, HRV and AF; remote capture, rapid onboarding, no hardware. For more info https://t.co/OBDOOi1UyD
Study at OLVG tested a pre-appointment heart rhythm check using the Happitech smartphone app, embedded in @Luscii1, for patients booked for elective cardioversion (ECV). Aim: confirm sinus rhythm remotely and avoid unnecessary travel and procedures.
Results: 247 ECVs scheduled; 56 cancelled. Forty-three were in sinus rhythm. The app identified sinus rhythm in 33 patients, equal to 13% of all bookings, so no in-person visit was required. Fewer trips and wait times, and procedure slots freed for those who need them.
