Instead of loafing around, I decided to challenge myself to make layouts and practice the fundamentals of graphic design (e.g., color theory).

Here's my really disappointing results from what I will dub "Experimentum".

> “what’s worse is the character is underage” ur weird as fuck

[sirius 🦇 @celestial_buwan]

[Azure @Azure_Skyscape]

Isn't the whole point of watching the movie was because of the Filipino representation?

FACTS FACTS FACTS!

Since FORGOTTEN ISLAND is out now globally, I can finally say I am a Filipino artist who worked on this Filipino-centric animated film. 🩷🩵✨

I worked as one of the Layout Artists in the 2D sequences as seen in these scenes from the trailers and MORE in the movie itself! (1/3)

[Edaphosaurus @Edaphosaurus]

Saw this in a gallery today and I have literally never had such an immediate emotional response to a piece of art.

[Venz @venz228]

Hard to hate on forgotten island cz this is the perfect movie to show to your gen X filipino mother to make her watch something other than genAI facebook reels for once

[🍓orbie✨ @swordberries]

Are furries not allowed to like non-furry characters,,,

me personally i went cuz i love supporting original stories in cinemas and i love the animation style

[Gab Madrid 🔥 @gabmadrid]

I love that they use "Tayo na" specifically. It can mean so many things that other more common phrases like "Tara na" cannot:

- "Let's go"
- "It's our turn now"
- "We're a couple now"
- "Time to stand up"

And it's so fun to just let the meaning play around with all of that

[bnyep 🐯 @happstablooky]

"why is the filipino movie so filipino" take

[Aster/Finn 🛴 BIGGEST RAISSA FAN @twistingdece1t]

i know these bracelets were loud as HELLLLLL😭😭😭😭

[lulu⁷ | #ForgottenIsland spoilers @was_nikolikha]

a filipino kid not knowing what an "aswang" is is exactly why we need more "filipino-centered" movies like this. i don't want our future generation to know about cyclops, medusa, gumihos, yokai, etc. but not know aswangs and engkantos.
