@ExInspectorBDS @DianaHarding7 @visitandtravel I worked in a criminal justice unit in the late 90s/early 2000s and the charging decisions from CPS consistently downgraded offences in the hope of getting a guilty plea. CPS employed the lawyers who couldn't get decent jobs with private firms and it showed!

@LeftwaffenWatch It all changed when they started regarding road collisions as crimes, not accidents. Now they are crime scenes they take ages to process, regardless of the mayhem they cause. In the old days everything was marked, the road cleared and they went back when it was quiet.
