Our comprehension focus is using text evidence to determine an author’s point of view. Students chose articles from Wonderopolis & used graphic organizers to collect evidence. Our next step is to analyze how the author’s viewpoint impacts how a text is written. #WatchWINGSSoar

S/O to Ms. VandenHoek for her lesson to introduce a theme within “Freedom Writers”. Students played the “Line Game” responding to questions varying in topic, which allowed them to see how similar they are in interests and life experiences.
