@whitecatcosplay Of course, only your vet can really decide if it's appropriate for your situation. But I thought it might be worth sharing our experience with it.
@whitecatcosplay they could refer you to, if you want to consider it. It sounds like your current vets are being very thorough though... I hope answers are able to be found and things somehow are able to work out. Please take care. I'm so sorry to hear what's happening.
@whitecatcosplay it helped a LOT with improving his quality of life (and ours). It made routine feeding much more effective and we were able to give him almost all his medicine that way too, which was a struggle before. It's a hard decision regardless but we are glad we opted for it.
@whitecatcosplay Sorry, one more note that came to mind - ours had to be tube fed for an extended period, and syringe feeding was difficult. We were asked if we were willing to get him a esophagostomy tube (esophageal feeding tube) and we were at first hesitant, but we eventually did, and
@whitecatcosplay at long last to a diagnosis that let us get a real care plan. The bad news is that specialty veterinarians are ... not common, and definitely not cheap. It might be worth asking your vet if they know of an internist (internal medicine specialist) that (cont)
@whitecatcosplay I think it sounds like you're doing everything right with engaging (multiple) vets. With our cat, we had a very hard time getting a diagnosis for quite some time. Eventually our vet said we really needed to engage a specialist doctor and that led (cont again)
@whitecatcosplay Hi there, a fellow mintie pointed me to your posts. I'm so sorry to hear about what is happening with your cats, I can tell how much you love them. We went through a long and painful process earlier this year when one of our cats got cancer. (cont)
@ryanflorence once upon a time I starred them to add it to a list I could use as a way to track projects I was interested in for assorted reasons, usually because I wanted to know when they were active/updated. Haven’t used that feature in years though.
@jamiedelano I've been on a classic Vertigo series kick recently and I've really been enjoying your John Constantine: Hellblazer books. Just wanted to say that I think they're still great all these years later.
@MStraussWrites@NearMintCon I've heard nothing but good things about this so I'm really interested. The cover definitely says "Volume 1" on it, but... the issue count is weird. I think the original 80s run was only 36 issues, and this has up through 27. 9 issues isn't enough for another omnibus?
@MrMorrisGames I watched a friend stream some Haiku and it look so good! I'm eagerly anticipating the Switch release! (my gaming computer is ... uh, not doing so hot atm, so... Switch version it will have to be, but looking forward to it!)
