The thing that confuses me about the reception to this event is that I think the only real issues this event has are endemic to VBS as a whole and I don't know how you can read VBS and not be used to it.

The entirety of VBS hinges on your ability to either take their "---🎵!" seriously, or to just put up with the fact that it is inherently very silly and the story is a shonen with music as the mechanic for powerscaling. If you haven't adapted to that by the point LutF arrives

T500 Kanade, T300 Ena, t10000 Mizuki (lmao), t5000 Mafuyu, top 700 overall. I'm really happy with how I did! I wasn't sure how much I was going to push initially and then went in on Ena. Also I nearly cried reading the ending i love these girls.

@EyelidCEO I think they shouldn't have left him at home like they did, but from their perspective, he was very responsible and he had the ability to call them if he needed to. It was a little irresponsible, but they also seem to live in a rich Japanese neighbourhood, so they weren't worried

@worldtetrad This event has almost certainly been planned since before the game came out, or at latest at like the end of year 1. You don't write this kind of narrative without extensive planning in advance

@pomepomepururin I genuinely liked it I can't lie. I think media doesn't explore the difficulties of knowing you're physically capable of something and failing to execute it in reality enough in the form it tackled and it was a neat focal point for an episode. It wasn't perfect but I liked it

@kohanepilled If we wanted to be more accurate to this flawed interpretation, most people are multishippers who just don't have multiple ships for the characters they're talking about. People legitimately interpret 'monoshipper' as 'opposed to any other ships'
