@rickygervais ๐If you get chance, could you check out slaughterhouse survivors? A small team saving dogs from the horrific meat trade:

There was an awful storm which ripped roofing off their rescue. They put themselves in danger every day & really deserve some help
I hope I never lose the sense of wonder of watching a winter sunrise. Everything seems to happen much more gently and quietly than in summer. The light creeps into the sky with the softest pastel colours, the growing warmth very slowly burns off the mists in the valley, and the fields echo with nothing more than birdsong, distant sheep and the sound of your footsteps. You always leave with your heart feeling a little bit lighter than when you arrived.

Are you a fan of Starlings?
They don't get the amount of love they deserve, in my opinion! ๐๐ฆ๐
Morning everyone I hope you are well. Brock Crags another Wainwright a little further along from Angle Tarn, with beautiful views towards Brothers Water. Have a great day.

If you're feeling the worries and noise of the world at the moment, I'm sending you this beautiful walk among the horse chestnut trees, the pale sun flickering through the leaves and falling in pools of light on the ground. The river is sparkling at the end of the lane, and all around the birds are singing out into the morning as the mist clears. I hope it brings a little calm to your day. #peakdistrict
Morning everyone I hope you are well. Do you ever find a spot sometimes with a view, and you don't want to leave? Overlooking Buttermere. Have a great day.

This is Wally. He's distraught because he had a fun time playing at grandma's house and has to go home. Tries not to play favorites, but grandma is definitely his. 13/10
Morning everyone I hope you are well. As usual a bit of brightness to start the week. Descending from Loughrigg towards Grasmere. Have a great day.

These are the hills of home, fading gently now as the year wears on and the light softens, the bright greens of summer replaced with autumn's bronze and gold. I love every curve and dip, every rocky bruise, the little farm half-hidden in the trees and the stone walls marking ancient boundaries - not to mention the many gates for eagle-eyed spotters. #peakdistrict
What a day yesterday at Somerset & Dorset Animal Rescueโs 25 year anniversary.
It was an honour to compare and chat to all the dog owners who entered their dogs into the fun dog show. They were all incredible with brilliant stories of love, friendship, and bravery.
Liz, Colin, Emma, and all the volunteers and stallholders were amazing, and it was a day full of emotion and joy.
It was so clear that although as adopters we rescue the dogs, dogs absolutely save us too in so many ways. It was also obvious that all our dogs are the best ones in the world! ๐
It was great to meet Kim from Animal SOS Sri Lanka who judged. Judging was hard, but it was great to be side by side ๐
Thank you for everything you do at the Rescue Liz, Colin, Emma and the volunteer team. You are seriously amazing โค๏ธ๐๐๐ด๐โ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ
